Animal RecoveryLOST PET TIPSWhen your pet is lost or runs off, you will probably experience a great deal of anxiety and fear. Your pet is after all a member of your family, maybe even your best friend. Do not wait! Certain things need to be done immediately to assure a better chance of an early recovery.
Call KoogaPet immediately so we can start informing local shelters and veterinarians. Print several Lost Pet flyers, grab some tape and your pet’s favorite “noise making” toy. Walk around your neighborhood with your Lost Pet flyers and hand them out to your neighbors, especially your mail carrier, as well as taping them to whatever place you feel appropriate. While walking around, squeeze or do what ever you need to do for the toy to make noise, so that your pet might hear it. Animals have a keener sense of hearing than we do. Search again for your pet in the early evening or morning hours. It’s quieter as car and pedestrian traffic is at a minimum and your pet might feel more secure especially cats, with less activity around them, especially if they are hiding. Take action your self by contacting local pet web sites that post lost and found animals. This is a good idea if your pet disappeared without a tag. Remember, Our staff of trained professionals are available for you at any time and will offer whatever assistance we can during this stressful time. |
